Been a little slow on the posting.......

at least February has started off in the right way. Had dinner with a mate from home on Tuesday night which was very enjoyable and washed down with a couple of bottles of Spanish red. Some more bits and pieces during the week and then went to see Henry Rollins do a spoken word show last night. He was in fine form.
Up early this morning and off to do some German tests  :-(. Everything seemed to be OK and I have to wait about 6 weeks for the results so no real stress there.
Afterwards headed into town for a swim- a great moment. The best swim that I have had, by far! For some unknown reason, I felt much more relaxed and comfortable in the water and was perhaps a little slower than before but able to swim considerably longer without tearing myself up. Going back tomorrow to see if it was "just a wind-sprint in the roadrace of life" or if it might be something better
