Went for a bike ride and brunch this morning

and even though it wasn't quite as planned, things turned out very well and it was a most enjoyable little trip. The sun is still shining and we have had a most pleasant weekend.
I was in the city yesterday and checked out the opening of the new Markthalle- which is an indoor marketplace for foodstuffs with a nice little restaurant attached. I'm sure that it will turn out to be a great addition to town but yesterday seemed to be a gathering of the "stupid, ignorant women with prams club" taking place, so it didn't really light my fire......

I spent a little time yesterday reading through an interesting music blog "Rafter Lights" which is written by Simpsnut14 and is a wonderful resource compiled by a real music lover. I can't recommend it highly enough!
The sun is shining here today and after a sleep-in and relaxed breakfast, I should get my sorry butt out of the door, take some photos and head to the pool.

So, I was out this evening........

and went for a quick walk around the neighbourhood. Most of the crowd were enjoying the sun on a holiday Monday evening and it was pretty quiet in our village - there was even a guy practising his fly-fishing in the river......... dunno if I would be interested in eating anything that came from that water, but at least he was doing something.
