I did manage to find a new checked shirt but when I went to look for a pair of jeans, the store was so busy that there was a queue to get into the changing rooms.......
At least my new boots were pretty comfortable :-)
BTW- there are easier (and better) ways to get a screenshot.
Tune of the Day: Sister Morphine by Marianne Faithfull
was spent in the city and hanging out at home. I went for a walk with my camera and have been processing a few photos to get into the hang of it all. After almost 20 years I also had to take one of my favourite old lenses to the shop for maintenance. My 50/1.4 has a little oil on the aperture blades which means that it will not stop down properly at the moment of exposure and it is not really useable in this state. Fingers crossed that it will be back as good as new in a couple of weeks' time.

Happy Birthday Jacqueline. I'm sure that you have had a great day and I hope that you remember your party for many years to come. Please ask Dad to sort out the computer so that we can have a skype on the weekend..... :-)
and things in Singapore seem to be looking up. He did manage to get a nice little sunburn whilst out watching Kai's football match though :-)
My MacLife is coming along. I have managed to migrate most of my stuff to the new system and it looks like we are ok. I'm looking forward to seeing what a larger, faster system can do when it comes to processing photos etc.
Catherine and I are a couple of Swiss-Australians and we have been living in Switzerland for quite a number of years now. We enjoy keeping in touch with our relatives and friends in different parts of the world as well as getting on with our lives here. Good food and drink, the outdoors, music and reading are some of our common interests- individually we have plenty more. Please feel free to drop us a line and let us know what you think about this little publishing effort. Thanks for the visit.
