There is a complete lack of respect around these parts

but I guess that makes it 1-1    :-)

Beautiful one day, perfect the next

If I were asked to order weather for a week off, I'm pretty sure that I would order exactly what we are having now. September is a great time of the year!
Went to the movies yesterday- please put "The Guard" on your list. Irish. Very amusing.

I came back from the South

with a little bit of a tan.......  Which is more than I can say for some of the travelling party

After sweeping away a little spam

and processing some photos, I am back on deck. We had a great week in Barcelona and I could seriously understand someone eating themself to death in that fantastic city. The Catalan love of seafood and the pig was a great match for my dietary plan.....

The SNB has some teeth after all

and caught plenty of people on the hop today when they announced that they would no longer tolerate a EURCHF rate below 1.20. After the initial up-move, the rate stayed in a pretty narrow range for most of the day and it will be very interesting to see how this develops over the next few months. I'm sure that they have found another way to spend some money and if the woes of the rest of Europe keep magnifying, we are going to be long of a whole bunch of €. Dunno how I feel about that.....

Sunday 4 September 2011

We had our own little bbq action last night

and it seems as if everyone enjoyed themselves. Food was good, wine was good, music was good and the conversation was lively. Could you ask for more?

When the Good Lord says that he is going for steak

he means steak. I could imagine myself picking my way around this one as well. Nice work Hobbsie! Fingers crossed that your satays look half as good today.
We will be firing up the bbq later with a group of friends- enjoying what will possibly be one of the last sunny and warm Saturdays of the year.....
