the most fun part was catching up with good people. It was pretty crowded and I guess that that is a good sign. Our dinner last night in Zürich was most enjoyable!

it is truly a "great leap forward for mankind" and I hope to be able to keep pace with it in the years to come. Sure, my last digital SLR was a fairly basic one but this is a huge difference.
With summer time starting on the weekend, there should be plenty of opportunities to do some shooting..........
and yes, lumberjack is in! :-) It was a cool, miserable day in Zürich yesterday and I'm sure that there would have been plenty of snow falling in the hills- it felt appropriate to be buying a checked shirt.
The weekend has been enjoyable-a nice dinner last night and watched part of TheBBC's excellent "Life On Earth" on DVD. Today the sun is shining again. Can you ask for more?
and there will be a flurry of activity before Catherine departs for her next week at the coalface. I am hoping to get a few things done in town tomorrow and then looking forward to lamb for dinner- a little salad, some Turkish bread, hummus and a bottle of shiraz. Any questions?
then spent some time processing a few photos. It will be an early start in the morning with Catherine having to be up and out the door with the sparrows........
and I'm looking forward to testing it out tomorrow when I'm out with Barge to take a few photos. I managed to get a few things done in town this morning and we're having a nice steak from the bbq for dinner- sort of a little celebration :-)

Catherine and I are a couple of Swiss-Australians and we have been living in Switzerland for quite a number of years now. We enjoy keeping in touch with our relatives and friends in different parts of the world as well as getting on with our lives here. Good food and drink, the outdoors, music and reading are some of our common interests- individually we have plenty more. Please feel free to drop us a line and let us know what you think about this little publishing effort. Thanks for the visit.
